At The Heritage House Inn Bed & Breakfast every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 3 (three) days* prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation.
In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than three (3) days* notice, please understand that all or part of your deposit may be forfeited. and you may be charged for up to 3 days of your booked stay.If your stay is shortened for any reason after check in, you will be responsible for the full cost of your stay. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund will be made. All cancellations are subject to a minimum $5.00 cancellation charge. If your room is not rebooked and a refund is not issued, we will instead apply any funds paid (minus the $5.00 cancellation fee) to a future stay.
Although we do one night bookings, we require two night minimum stays for most festivals, including but not limited to polka fest, ethnic fest and Ameriserve music festival. During Thunder in the Valley a 3 night minimum stay is required. ALL OTHER WEEKENDS DURING JUNE WILL REQUIRE A 2 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY. In the event, you book for one night only through online booking, you will be contacted and given the opportunity to go on a waiting list for last minute availability. Otherwise, your reservation will be cancelled and any deposit refunded. We appreciate your understanding.
Unless you are traveling in a group and booking rooms with shared bath as two room suites, you will always be booked with private bath. Once your booking is made, the room which is listed as sharing a bath with yours, will be blocked and left unbooked to ensure your privacy.
Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. *A 30 day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings and for some holidays and special events.
Check-in:Our check in times are very flexible and there is no charge for early or late check ins. We do not have a 24 hour desk, so it is helpful if you call ahead with an approximate arrival time. We do not want to be out running an errand when you arrive.
Check out time 11:00 A.M. Late check out is permitted when we can and it will not conflict with another guest's check in or if we do not have another guest checking in immediately
Absolutely No Smoking inside; however designated outdoor smoking areas are available.
We have limited dog friendly accommodations, ( 1 suite only) please check in advance if bringing a dog. Although we love all pets, our insurance limits some breeds.
We love children! We are a family friendly Inn and your children are most welcome.
GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICIES
Gift certificates must be presented at check-in along with a valid driver's license. Gift certificates are transferable unless marked otherwise. Any remaining amount on gift certificates can be used at a later day up to the expiration date. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash. At this time, the only gift certificates which we honor are those issued directly by our Inn.
